Portugal Express Restaurant and Bar established in 1996 has since then grown to be one of Elizabeth’s most reputable restaurants that is owned and operated by the Horta family. Emidio and Rosemary Horta started Portugal Express with a vision of good food and a friendly environment the atmosphere once inside is laid-back and casual with a noticeable flare of Portuguese ambience and culture.

We pride ourselves by serving daily  Portuguese traditional specials with the markets freshest  available ingredients. Our meals range from a simple sandwich to the most delectable seafood platters.
